Default Bowl Bound unlicensing?

I bought a new computer and I'm in the process of transferring things from the old one. I successfully unlicensed FBPB and FBCB, but the unlicensing process for Bowl Bound College Football doesn't work.

I right-clicked on the desktop icon, typed "-unlicense" at the end of the target box, pressed "Apply," but got an error message.

Will BBCF even work in Windows 10?

I am posting this question here instead of in the BBCF forum because that forum is very, very quiet.

There's a fix in the TEW2016 Elicense FAQ that sounds very similar to what you are trying to do. If you try the command prompt version of that, it should work for you as all elicense protected products work the same way.

As for the second part, I've not played BBCF but other games designed years ago do work on modern versions of Windows so the game should be fine.

I will try that, thank you.

Do you know if BBCF, FBPB and FBCB will actually work in Windows 10? It would be pointless to bother with unlicensing and relicensing if these old games don't even work.

I really only play Adam Ryland's games so I can't spseak directly for the other games on offer from GDS. But all of Adam's ones that I've tried do work on Windows 10, so at a guess I would assume all of the others ones do too. But I don't know what programming language they are written in so I can't say for sure. Hopefully someone else who has tried those games will chip in and let you know.

What is the error message you got, if it really happened when you hit apply, my guess is the path in the box of the short-cut has gotten fouled up somehow. Bowl Bound should run on Windows 10.

Hi Soctt. The message is:

"The folder 'Grey Dog Software' specified in the Start In box is not valid. Make sure that the folder exists and that the path is correct."

I have attempted to attach a screen shot of the BBCF "Properties" box.

Thank you for trying to help me.
