Not everyo… Okay... everyone...!! But they're bloody good. John Maverick is a little bit too old to push, but when he's ready to retire, Julian Watson is going to kick on and become one of the best workers I have!!

Can't remember many Mutant matches but would be surprised if he fell here. Maybe C2C get involved taking out Gold again.
Gold and Mutant are on totally different levels. 'The King of the Wasteland' has a real chance of being a top guy here. He's just turned 23, so he just needs some time.

Erik Strong DEFINITELY takes the pin here, as Dunn potentially bails on the match to keep his streak going at the expense of his partner.
That could have been a fun way to go, but I see Dunn as a fan favourite going forward. I also have cool plans for Erik Strong

I actually think Dan DaLay could give Gino a run for his money. He's way more over than the 'Magnificent' Mexican. But Robin, isn't.

NOVEMBER 2017, WEEK 3…

Show Rating: 92

Announce Team:

Peter Michaels, Tom Townsend and 'The Saviour of Wrestling' Jonathan Faust

Quote:
We began this 'go-home' edition of Championship Wrestling (before Nirvana In November) by previewing the upcoming show... First of all, later tonight Angry Gilmore and 'Mighty' Danny Cavanagh will sign their 'Career versus Career Match' contracts LIVE in the ring... The loser of their match this Saturday will LEAVE NOTBPW... We're also going to see Steve DeColt and Ricky DeColt in tag team action against The Mavericks... But... The announce team asked if there's a chance we might see the Coast To Coast Connection here tonight...?! The three big men have run roughshod over the NOTBPW roster thus far... Thoughts are that some of the guys they've taken out will return tonight to call them out!!

But up first, NOTBPW Tag Team Champions: Primed For Progress headed to the ring, and they were not happy... Last week, they ordered Wade Orson to grab their bags for them, and the young Brit threw them in the trash without Cameron Vessey and Christian Price realising it... Well they realised now... and they wasted no time at all in calling Orson to the ring... Orson obliged, but he kept his distance, and stayed on the apron... Primed For Progress demanded that Orson replace everything that was in those bags immediately, but he said that Vessey and Price had other things to worry about, and then he introduced their opponents in the opening contest...

w/
Donte Dunn & Erik Strong w/ Wade Orson [vs] Primed For Progress (Cameron Vessey & Christian Price)

Donte Dunn is on a roll right now, winning four matches in a row coming into this battle. The only problem with that mini 'streak' is that Primed For Progress had won their last FIVE! Including three matches for the NOTBPW Tag Team Titles! They weren't impressed with Wade Orson's actions, and they weren't phased by his selection of a team to face them tonight. Cameron Vessey took care of Donte Dunn on the outside, while Christian Price made light work of the distracted Erik Strong and put him away with his 'Stud Stopper' Stunner!

Winners: Primed For Progress (Cameron Vessey & Christian Price)
Rating: 79
Finish: 'Stud Stopper' Stunner

Erik Strong was clearly at fault for the loss there, and Donte Dunn didn't seem too pleased... However, 'The Barbadian Barbarian' is a compassionate young man, and Strong is a good friend of his, so he consoled his tag team partner... Wade Orson tried to get his hands on Cameron Vessey and Christian Price, but they got out of there, sensing that the numbers game wasn't in their favour for a change... Vessey and Price shouted that 'this isn't over', because they still want revenge for what Orson did to their bags last week!!

Quote:
Next up, a live interview hosted by NOTBPW Announcer Tom Townsend... On the big screen, Dan DaLay and Alex DeColt were in separate locations... Thoughts are that Dan DaLay is at home tonight... resting up for his big match with Alex... The General Manager (Alex DeColt) is somewhere in the back... After all... He has a show to run... Townsend asked DaLay if he accepts the challenge of Alex to a match, at Nirvana In November... The winner of that match, will get the 'naming rights' to Alex's son, and Dan's Nephew, Logan... Currently, he's a DeColt... But if Dan DaLay wins, he'll be a DaLay!!

Dan DaLay: “Yu know what Alex... Of course I accept, man... I've known you a long time, and I kept your secret for you... It took over my LIFE!! But now it's a chance for me to get Logan HIS life, BACK... What you did to Harrison Hash... letting him leave the company like that... was wrong... What you did to Derek Frost... Forcing him to compete against a dangerous 'Monster' like Gargantuan... was ALSO wrong... And Alex... I'm not trying to tell you how to be a parent... But what you're doing to LOGAN... is wrong!!”

Things got tense at this point, as Dan DaLay's comments cut deep inside Alex DeColt... DaLay continued though, and said that Alex should be treating a tag team like Los Monteros with more respect too... Gino and Luis Montero are clearly very talented, and they deserve the chance to shine here in Canada... Not be treated like dirt by Logan and Alex... 'The Mind' interrupted at that point, and slowly said that he can't wait to batter Dan DaLay at Nirvana In November... However tonight, Dan can watch as HIS son Robin takes on the aforementioned Gino Montero... and as Alex said, we'll see how good this Gino really is!!

w/
Robin DaLay [vs] Gino Montero w/ Luis Montero Jr.

Two youngsters with bright futures colliding here, but it was clear which one had the most talent currently. Gino Montero outperformed Robin DaLay from start to finish here, and finally put the 2o year old, one year pro away with his awesome 'Destiny Explosion' on around 8 minutes.

Winner: Gino Montero w/ Luis Montero Jr.
Rating: 69
Finish: 'Destiny Explosion' (Canadian Destroyer)

The next segment involved a lot of people... First up, NOTBPW Television Champion Sonny Wildside headed to the ring... He was attacked by the Coast To Coast Connection at Anarchy, and tonight, he was back... to call them out... But his Nirvana In November opponent arrived on the stage... Bryan Vessey told Wildside he should be more concerned with his upcoming Title defence... not a group of newcomers... With that, The Natural and Solomon Gold arrived, and walked past Vessey on the stage... They too were attacked by the CTC, and they stood in the ring alongside Wildside... But... they were out there to call out the tag team: Mayhem!!

The Natural: “We want the CTC too... But they seem like the type of group that will show up whenever they want... Not when we want... But... Mayhem... Aldous Blackfriar and Mutant... WE had the chance to FIGHT... Together... And you fled... you ran like cowards... Well tonight... We don't want the CTC... we'll get to them... Tonight... We want MAYHEM!!”

Aldous Blackfriar and Mutant soon arrived on the stage, and stood side by side with Bryan Vessey... Aldous did all of the talking as usual, and said that The American Blondes and Mayhem WILL fight in a tag team match... soon... But tonight... It'll be a singles match... Blackfriar's 'muscle' Mutant, taking on ANY of the three men in the ring... The Natural threw down his microphone and began taking off his jacket... Sonny Wildside placed his Championship Belt AND his microphone on the floor, but the young rookie Solomon Gold stepped forward... Still with a microphone... and said that HE would fight Mutant... right... fricking... now!!

w/ w/
'The Hillbilly Heartthrob' Solomon Gold w/ The Natural [vs] 'The King of the Wasteland' Mutant w/ Aldous Blackfriar

Solomon Gold was very brave to step up to the 360lb Mutant tonight, but he was no match for the big man's power. The match was as one-sided as they come, but Gold fought bravely, and made a good showing of himself. In the end though, he was squashed by Mutant's size, and then ran onto the 'Tina Turner'!

Winner: 'The King of the Wasteland' Mutant w/ Aldous Blackfriar
Rating: 73
Finish: 'The Tina Turner' (Brick Wall Clothesline)

We cut backstage to where Solomon Gold's tag team partner The Natural was proven right when he said that the Coast To Coast Connection show up when THEY want... They burst into the trainer's room, to where Thrill Seeker was receiving treatment for his injured knee – an injury he suffered in his match with James Hernandez last week... The group looked around the place, and told the medical personnel to leave the room... Seeker stood no chance against the three big men once they got going, and they threw him around the room!! His knee was the target, and they wrapped Seeker's left leg up in the gurney he was on, before slamming it into a wall!! Referees and Officials arrived on the scene to end the beatdown...

The leader of 'The Animals' Edd Stone was backstage with Primed For Progress next, and he spoke candidly to the NOTBPW Tag Team Champions... Stone told Cameron Vessey and Christian Price that they need to focus more on 'Animals Matters', and not take out frustrations on guys like Wade Orson... He said that Orson is nothing... and they need to be ready at Nirvana In November... Vessey and Price said they would be ready... But they reminded Stone that Orson could be picked by Ernest Youngman as his team's fourth member... Stone reacted angrily, and said he didn't want to hear it... and his friends seemed to fall in line after that...

Steve DeColt & Ricky DeColt [vs] The Mavericks (John Maverick & Julian Watson)

An excellent tag team match here involving four experienced competitors. Steve DeColt and Ricky DeColt have great chemistry as partners, but they haven't been teaming up as long as The Mavericks have. John Maverick lead things, and he told Julian Watson what to do and when. However, blood is thicker than water, and the two DeColt Brothers soon proved this adage true. They made a few successful quick tags to regain the momentum, and then right as Steve DeColt hit his 'DeColt Stampede' (big boot) on Maverick, Ricky DeColt hit his 'DeColt .45' Super Kick on Watson. Ricky and Watson were the legal men, and Ricky pinned him to score the victory!

Winners: Steve DeColt & Ricky DeColt
Rating: 81
Finish: 'DeColt .45' Super Kick

After their win, we were reminded that 'The Young Gun' Ricky DeColt will be in singles action this Saturday at Nirvana In November... He'll take on his Brother Steve DeColt's rival POISON, after Steve beat POISON at Anarchy, and then the mysterious multi-hair-coloured veteran then beat Steve up with a steel chair!! Tonight, 'The Outsider' Steve DeColt confirmed that he will be in Ricky's corner, to make sure lightning doesn't strike twice, and POISON can't attack Ricky post-match, regardless of the result...

Backstage, NOTBPW Canadian Champion Gargantuan bumped into 'Mainstream' James Hernandez – the former NOTBPW Television Champion, who held the Title for seven months until losing it two months ago... In that time, he went undefeated for the entire run (until it ended), and even DREW with the still undefeated Gargantuan... 'The Monster' has been a NOTBPW employee for twenty-one months, and the Canadian Champion for five... His match with Hernandez was the first and only time he didn't win... There was tension in the air between the two, but Hernandez smiled in the end... As he walked off, he wished the 7'1” 350lb beast 'good luck' in his match against 'The Ace' Aaron Andrews at Nirvana In November!!

Mark 'The Anvil' Griffin [vs] 'The Man Beast' Akima Brave

Fresh off the back of his rare win against the departing Hugh Ancrie last week, Mark Griffin was keen to follow it up with another win here. However, he was facing the experienced Samoan Akima Brave tonight, and he too saw an opportunity to pick up a win! Brave overpowered Griffin for most of the match, and was quicker to the punch too. He scored the win in the end following a 'Samoan Suplex'.

Winner: 'The Man Beast' Akima Brave
Rating: 71
Finish: 'Samoan Suplex'

Backstage, 'Cut Throat' Trent Shaffer and 'Awesome' Wade Orson were talking in the locker room, about the Coast To Coast Connection... The 'CTC' had previously attacked Shaffer, and he suggested that guys like them should stick together, to avoid being attacked in the future... Particularly after what happened to Thrill Seeker earlier tonight... At that moment, 'The Assassin of the Squared Circle' Ernest Youngman walked in, and said out loud that he'd been looking everywhere for the man he found... Shaffer and Orson thought he was talking about Orson, but he was talking about Shaffer... To the surprise of both of them, Youngman asked Shaffer to be the fourth member of his team at Nirvana In November, where they'll take on Orson's rivals Primed For Progress!!

w/
'The Ace' Aaron Andrews [vs] 'Wild Man' Jack DeColt w/ Logan DeColt

Aaron Andrews and Jack DeColt put on an amazing match here, and it was one of the best matches of 2017. Andrews is fighting Gargantuan this Saturday at Nirvana In November for the NOTBPW Canadian Title. Jack will team with his Nephew Logan DeColt again, to take on Los Monteros, at the request of Alex DeColt. Tonight, Andrews was focused, and determined to score possibly the biggest win of his career against the legendary DeColt Brother. But with Logan in his corner, Jack was able to gain the unfair advantage a few times, and he came close to winning the match on more than one occasion. Late on though, to the shock of Jack DeColt, Los Monteros ran to the ring, and ran Logan off! They stayed at ringside, and continued to anger and distract Jack DeColt. He was then hit with the 'Hot Shot' by Andrews, and Andrews won it!

Winner: 'The Ace' Aaron Andrews
Rating: 94
Finish: 'Hot Shot' (Spanish Fly)

For the contract signing between Angry Gilmore and Danny Cavanagh, we got a rare appearance from Jeremy Stone, Dan Stone Jr. and Victoria Stone McFly... the three principal owners of NOTBPW... The Stones were there to oversee the contract signing, and make sure nothing went down between the two rivals... Their match at Nirvana In November will be a 'Loser Leaves Town' Match, with the winner being able to rid NOTBPW of the loser!! Things were tense between the two, but nothing went down, due to the presence of Jeremy and Dan Stone... but once the contracts were signed, an unexpected group showed up... 'The Coast To Coast Connection'!!

The CTC, lead by the big man in the middle, spoke to Angry Gilmore, Danny Cavanagh and The Stones... They told Jeremy Stone and Dan Stone Jr. that they should stand down, and leave them to attack the two Main Event stars... but The Stone Brothers decided to stand and fight instead!! They both began removing watches and unbuttoning their cuffs... Just then, 'Mighty' Danny Cavanagh took an opportunity to clock Angry Gilmore from behind, and send him crashing into the bottom turnbuckle, hitting his face hard!! Cavanagh then jumped out of the ring as The Stones helped Gilmore to his feet... When Cavanagh got to the stage, he raised the CTC's hands... and he looked like he was WITH them... But the middle one ordered his men to attack, and they took Cavanagh down... stomping on his legs, arms and chest!! The CTC left the arena, as the show went off the air, with Gilmore desperate to get up and go after Cavanagh!!

Primed For Progress [def.] Donte Dunn & Erik Strong
Gino Montero [def.] Robin DaLay
Mutant [def.] Solomon Gold
Steve DeColt & Ricky DeColt [def.] The Mavericks
Akima Brave [def.] Mark Griffin
Aaron Andrews [def.] Jack DeColt

PGHW veteran PRIDE Koiso has been working hard lately, and experts believed he was only one small slip away from an injury... Unfortunately last week, that became true for the 41 year old... He will now miss an entire year of action, following a Herniated Spinal Disc, an injury he suffered during a match with Masaru Ugaki... It was Koiso's 11th match in November, after he and Kozue Kawashima went the distance to win the PGHW Elite Tag Team Series for the fifth time in ten years!! It's a shame for Koiso and Kawashima, because NOTBPW were going to make use of their working relationship with PGHW to bring the tag team in for the Ed Henson Memorial Tag Team Cup which will take place in February of next year... They won't make it now!!

Joshua Taylor ended weeks of speculation when he finally put pen to paper on a contract with USPW this week... Losing Taylor is another hammer blow to TCW, who continue to struggle in and around their Main Event scene... They're now left with their top names: Eric Eisen, Benny Benson, Freddy Huggins, Scout, Vengeance and Mighty Mo... Not a bad line up, but it's hard to see who the biggest star is... Vengeance is the most over competitor, but at 46 years old, it's easy to see why SWF didn't feel it necessary to tie him down to a long contract and let him walk...

Meanwhile, NOTBPW have been busy making signings this week too... They've signed two BIG men to work in their developmental territory, and both of them have huge potential... 33 year old Dusty Ducont brings some much needed star power to the developmental company... Meanwhile former RIPW and surely future mega star Hellion was pried away from the SWF, and will come to Canada with a lot of hype behind him... The 360lb 23 year old will no doubt be looked at as a direct replacement for Gargantuan in the future, and will ply his trade under the guidance of developmental coaches Leo Price, Bobby Thomas, Bryan Holmes, R.K. Hayes and Travis Century...

Grudge Match:
'The Young Gun' Ricky DeColt w/ Steve DeColt [vs] POISON
Comments: I think Ricky gets the win but it is because POISON gets DQed. POISON's shtick reminds me CM Punk circa 2011 and Nexus. He'll take the loss to send a more important message.

Grudge Match:
Los Monteros (Gino Montero & Luis Montero Jr.) [vs] Jack DeColt & Logan DeColt
Comments: I want to pick Magnificent Montero here, but the DeColts make a formidable opponent, especially since Gino is still building his popularity here. Luis eats the pin, Gino looks like a star, and we move on.

NOTBPW Television Title Match:
'The Man Without Fear' Sonny Wildside (c) [vs] 'The Living Legend' Bryan Vessey
Comments: Interesting to see Vessey get some ring run, and he and Wildside should have a great match. I find it interesting that Wildside keeps defending that TV title on PPVs. You need to revamp a semi-main event title and put the TV Title back on the weekly shows!

Winner gets the rights to Logan DeColt's surname:
'The Iron Fist' Dan DaLay [vs] 'The Mind' Alex DeColt
Comments: I don't think The Mind is coming out of retirement to lose to Dan. Still, this could be a spotfest with about 10 people getting involved.

4 on 4 Match:
Ernest Youngman, The Ring Generals & Trent Shaffer [vs] Edd Stone, Tim Westybrook & Primed For Progress
Comments: Youngman is shooting up the card, and when I finally pick him here, he will probably lose. Sorry Ernie, this one's on me...

Loser Leaves Town Match:
Angry Gilmore [vs] 'Mighty' Danny Cavanagh
Comments: No one leaves town! CTC makes their presence felt, and no one gets this win with the match being called somewhere in the carnage.

NOTBPW Canadian Title Match:
'The Ace' Aaron Andrews [vs] 'The Monster' Gargantuan (c)
Comments: Gargantuan is bigger, but I always think of Rusev as the Bulgarian Brute when it comes to him. Obviously more over, but the power game still translates. I'm afraid Ace doesn't have much of a shot here.

Bonus:
1). Which Match will be Match of the Night?: _Andrews [vs] Gargantuan_
2). What will the overall rating of the show be?: ___88___ (within 5 gets a point. Spot on gets 2 points)
3). Will the Coast To Coast Connection make an appearance?: __yes__
4). If they do appear on the show, who do the CTC Connection attack?: __Cavanagh/Gilmore__

Grudge Match:
'The Young Gun' Ricky DeColt w/ Steve DeColt [vs] POISON
Comments: POISON wasn't in a position to beat Steve, but I can see POISON getting the win over the youngest brother. If he loses here, I can see the finish either being screwy or someone interferes/debuts as an ally to POISON.

Grudge Match:
Los Monteros (Gino Montero & Luis Montero Jr.) [vs] Jack DeColt & Logan DeColt
Comments: Tough call, but the Monteros are only just now starting to get their footing in NOTBPW while it's hard to see two DeColts losing back to back.

NOTBPW Television Title Match:
'The Man Without Fear' Sonny Wildside (c) [vs] 'The Living Legend' Bryan Vessey
Comments: If there was any chance of Vessey winning the title here, him picking up an injury at his age during such an important angle killed any chances of that, I feel.
.
Winner gets the rights to Logan DeColt's surname:
'The Iron Fist' Dan DaLay [vs] 'The Mind' Alex DeColt
Comments: I honestly have no idea where this feud is going. We've heard next to nothing from Logan on how he actually feels about all this. He seems to have fully embraced the bad-guy DeColt mentality of Alex and Jack. Even if Dan wins, I don't see Logan going back to him.

4 on 4 Match:
Ernest Youngman, The Ring Generals & Trent Shaffer [vs] Edd Stone, Tim Westybrook & Primed For Progress
Comments: Youngman has been getting a really strong push for himself, and The Animals seem to be in a bit of midcard limbo with Edd and Westybrook not really having titles to chase or enemies to fight.

Loser Leaves Town Match:
Angry Gilmore [vs] 'Mighty' Danny Cavanagh
Comments: I can see some shenanigans happening, but Cavanagh has filled his role in NOTBPW the way I see it.

NOTBPW Canadian Title Match:
'The Ace' Aaron Andrews [vs] 'The Monster' Gargantuan (c)
Comments: Garg ain't dropping in a normal singles match, that's for damn sure.

Bonus:
1). Which Match will be Match of the Night?: Ace/Garg

< < QUICK PICKS for NOTBPW: NIRVANA IN NOVEMBER 2017... (NOVEMBER 2017, WEEK 3)… > >

Grudge Match:
'The Young Gun' Ricky DeColt w/ Steve DeColt [vs] POISON
Comments: POISON needs this more to be believable for me, if he loses again then I'm not sure where the story goes. Maybe Ricky being the young gun falls for one of POISON' mind game tricks.

Grudge Match:
Los Monteros (Gino Montero & Luis Montero Jr.) [vs] Jack DeColt & Logan DeColt
Comments: DeColts win but Los Monteros (particularly Gino) look good in defeat.

NOTBPW Television Title Match:
'The Man Without Fear' Sonny Wildside (c) [vs] 'The Living Legend' Bryan Vessey
Comments: Unless he's moving up or on Wildside retains.

Winner gets the rights to Logan DeColt's surname:
'The Iron Fist' Dan DaLay [vs] 'The Mind' Alex DeColt
Comments: Don't think Alex comes back just to lose. The Mind will have something up his sleeve and I think it's C2C.

4 on 4 Match:
Ernest Youngman, The Ring Generals & Trent Shaffer [vs] Edd Stone, Tim Westybrook & Primed For Progress
Comments: My boy Wade getting overlooked for Shaffer? Think that's what costs the team here, don't think we'll see an Orson turn but could work. Also an outside chance of C2C coming for Shaffer.

Loser Leaves Town Match:
Angry Gilmore [vs] 'Mighty' Danny Cavanagh
Comments: Is this a shoot or a work brotha!? Loser leaves town makes me think that either a) One of these two is working injured and you want to give them time of to recover or more likely b) One of these two head has been turned by a big money offer from America. Gilmore signed more recently so makes me think is Danny leaving.... Or for kayfabe Gilmore gets his revenge and gets Gargantuan one on one.

NOTBPW Canadian Title Match:
'The Ace' Aaron Andrews [vs] 'The Monster' Gargantuan (c)
Comments: I think Ace could be a future Canadian champion, good worker and good star quality but I don't think this is his time, more I don't think this is the time for Gargantuan to lose.

Bonus:
1). Which Match will be Match of the Night?: Andrews vs. Gargantuan
2). What will the overall rating of the show be? (within 5 gets a point. Spot on gets 2 points): 89
3). Will the Coast To Coast Connection make an appearance?: Yes
4). If they do appear on the show, who do the CTC Connection attack?: Dan DaLay (could argue for Shaffer or Wildside post match but picking DaLay)
