Steel Cage Warfare
If Team Aroma wins, Aroma gets a singles match with Spencer Spade at Wrestling Summit IX
Team Aroma [Jeffery Aroma, Primus Allen, Jakob Yoder, & Gabriel Shaw] versus Bowen Services [Spencer Spade, Cameron Vessey, Casey Valentine, & Franklin Rush]
Clearly, this sets up another Spade vs Aroma match for the payoff and Lisa's off-screen maternity break

North American Heavyweight Championship
"The Hillbilly Hammer" Clyde Puder versus Torment (c) w/ Father Grim
Interesting tease of a heel turn, but I'm not taking the bait...yet

Ross Henry & Rick Law versus The Lucha Legends (Champagne Lover & Axxis Jr.)
Not sure if and how much in decline Axxis Jr. might be, but Lover probably wins here to look like a strong title competitor

Matty Faith versus "Hollywood" Bret Starr w/ Lisa Bowen
Matty probably needs the win here to stay relevant

North American Women's Championship
Queen Amazon versus Lauren Easter (c)
I noticed she's been prominently featured and judging by the WWA diary, she has a good chance of winning the title here

North American Women's Tag Team Championship
Laura Flame & Alina America versus Alicia Strong & Brooke Tyler (c) w/ Lisa Bowen
Love Flame and was surprised to see Alina beat Strong, but that was probably to set up their loss here

United States Championship
Lisa Bowen Barred From Ringside
"Latin Sensation" Leon Pena versus Ash Campbell (c)
If Lisa's banned, Leon's probably winning. Ash feels strong enough already to the point where he can go without the gold, time to build up a homegrown guy now

North American Tag Team Championship
American Muscle versus The Devil's Rejects (c) w/ February Malaise
I will never root for American Muscle. Especially when they're up against the Rejects

GWC World Junior Heavyweight Championship
KC Glenn versus "The Butcher" Alexander Vasquez (c)
KC is great and probably deserves the win, but he can also live without it. Vasquez would lose all steam if he lost here

LB: Hello and welcome to the ninth annual installment of No Law or Order. We are coming to you live from the Connecticut Symphony Hall in downtown Hartford, Connecticut. Definitely didn't expect Torment to win clean.

I must be missing the plot here, Summit is in 3 weeks and the NA Champion has no match or even conceivable match that isn't a random rematch with no build against a guy with minimal momentum.

Puder vs Torment isn't really doable anymore since Puder just lost to the guy twice and now lost clean in not even 15 minutes.

I feel like we're pigeonhold into a random Matty Faith match or even worse a random match with someone like Primus Allen who has been dead in the water all year.

Guess I'll have to wait and see, maybe something big behind the scenes is brewing.

Well, my predictions for NLNO were all way off, but I enjoyed the show nevertheless. Plus that new portrait really works for Gabriel Shaw. That's an old King Bison one, right?

It is an old King Bison one that I had lying around so I figured I would give it a dance and we would make it happen.

Wow!

Jay Chord too!

Meanwhile Aroma looks ready for the big time. Going to be an interesting year in CWL for sure.

Epilogue

I never thought I would get asked to tell this story. I never thought this story would matter. When I started Rocky Mountain Wrestling in January of 2016, I had no idea the heights that it would achieve. I helmed the ship until the end of March 2024. I helmed the ship for eight full years. We started as an operation that I had funded out of my own pocket with just a desire to give back. I steered the ship through the waters until we became national. The signings of Marshall Dillon, Jay Chord, and Wolf Hawkins combined with the star power of Ross Henry, Spencer Spade, Rick Law, and Torment pushed us over the threshold. We were only the number three company at the time, but I had done my goal.

Wrestling Summit IX was my last show as booker and CEO. It was my swansong and I got to go out with a bang. I went out with Riley McManus becoming the first Grand Slam Champion in company history. I went out with Lisa Bowen getting to bow out of the wrestling business to start a family. She never came back from having the kid. She had a couple of more. I got to see Wolf Hawkins, who I saw as an eighteen-year-old kid come to my company and help.

American Muscle became tag champions, a new babyface tag team that was cemented. The Rejects continued their run as a top heel team, but they had people to work with. Legit people to work with. I was proud.

I retired and left the company in the hands of Marjorie and KC and Pete and Ricky and Riley. The five of them were in charge. Marjorie became the Chief Executive Officer. Ricky and Riley took over the book while KC helped Marjorie run the thing. Pete continued to serve as the Vice President of Wrestling Operations until he retired from the business and KC took that role.

Looking back almost twenty years, I can't believe what I started. I didn't know then that I was creating what would become the standard for professional wrestling. I had no idea. None. Sometimes I still turn on the television to watch. To watch Brody Irons and Giant Luther dominate the wrestling landscape. Dave Derringer and Johnny Rain are perhaps the best tag team of the last decade. Riley is the best color commentator I've ever heard. Lee's still in the broadcast booth and he and Riley are an amazing team.

This all started in Denver. I wasn't able to take down BriCo or Packer or the Eisens, but I was able to get us to compete. Marjorie? Well, she's the reason two of the three are gone and I couldn't be prouder.

My story was the story of The Climb. I owe all of my success to the men and women who sacrificed their bodies for what I was trying to create. The men and women who believed in me and the vision I had. Thank you to all of them and to my late wife Mariah. She was my rock. I couldn't have done it without her.

And thank you. All of you. Who bought a ticket to come see RMW or CWL live. Who bought a Pay Per View. Or watched the television show. Because of you, we were able to build something that stood the test of time. We all owe it to you.

Sincerely,
Robert Oxford
March, 2034.

Quote:
This marks the official end of The Climb. The goal of this diary was to take a company to national, and I did. TCW fell to Cult in December and opened up a spot and we were able to hit it. Thanks to the star power of the additions of Wolf and Jay (and Marshall to a degree) and our exposure on NCTV, we hit the minimum importance requirement. Thank you to everyone who read this diary over the almost eleven-months that it has been active. Thank you to everyone who has voted for this diary in the Diary of the Month and Diary of the Year polls. Because of all of you, it has been a fixture in the awards and I do appreciate it.

When I started this diary, it was really just a germ of an idea to see if I could take a company from nothing to something. I didn't know if my stripped-down style would be well received. I didn't know if anyone would read it, but I was determined to find out. I booked and posted 283 shows.

Once again, thank you for going on this journey with me.

Historian.
