LB: Hello and welcome to another exciting and thrill-packed episode of Saturday Night Slammasters. We are coming to you from the sould out Missouri State Armory for the very first episode of Saturday Night Slammasters here in 2024! What an episode we have for you tonight. There are two New Year’s Rumbles on the format tonight -- that’s right, TWO. Because of this, NCTV has given us a full two hours for tonight’s show.

RDJ: They did and I’m incredibly happy they did. The Women’s New Year’s Rumble will start the show and the male’s version will close the show. By the end of tonight, we will know who is challenging for the respective top titles for their gender at the Eighth Anniversary.

LB: Tonight is an amazing opportunity for many competitors. Who will step up? Who will walk out with a championship opportunity? Plus the Television Championship is on the line. Let’s not waste any more time.

“The Headhunter” Jeffery Aroma is in the ring with a microphone. He has vanquished every member of Bowen Services that has stood in front of him. He has been on a warpath to right the wrongs he has done in his career and he has added many heads to his trophy case. But there is one head that he is missing. That is the crown jewel in Lisa Bowen’s fiefdom. Spencer Spade. Spade’s suspension is up and Aroma wants him at the Eighth Anniversary Special.

Spade comes out with Lisa Bowen. He looks refreshed from his sixty-day banishment. He lets Jeffery Aroma know that while yes, he has been successful so far, Spencer Spade is a whole different breed of animal. There is a reason that he is the Supreme Star. There is a reason he is the measuring stick for what it means to be a true sports entertainer and not just a professional wrestler. Spencer tells Jeffery that at The Eighth Anniversary show he is going to teach Jeffery Aroma the difference.

Opening Match
Women's New Year's Rumble
20 Woman Rumble
Number One Contender to North American Women’s Championship

In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Nadia Snow won a battle royal in 35:01. The other members of the 'final four' were Pearl Flanders, Jaime Quine and Alicia Strong, with Pearl Flanders being the final elimination. Queen Amazon got the most eliminations over the course of the match; Amber Allen set the record for surviving the longest.

Singles Match
Twenty Minute Time Limit

Dale Kingman versus “Latin Sensation” Leon Pena ©

In a bout that had decent wrestling but little heat, Leon Pena defeated Dale Kingman in 5:47 by pinfall with an Easy Palm Strike. Leon Pena makes defence number 6 of his CWL Television title.
Kingman and Pena don’t seem to click

Rick Law is backstage. He came to CWL to administer justice, he came here to be a beacon of light in the darkness that the Fallen was swallowing the CWL. At Christmas Chaos, he knew he was going to beat Torment but Torment did not respect the authority of the official and it got him disqualified. Law mentions that he knows that there is the New Year’s Rumble tonight to name a contender to Torment, but he’s spoken with “Pistol” Pete and at the Eighth Anniversary it will actually be a triple threat match!

Main Event
New Year’s Rumble
Thirty Man Rumble
Number One Contender to North American Heavyweight Championship

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Clyde Puder won a battle royal in 59:49. The other members of the 'final four' were Casey Valentine, Hollywood Bret Starr and Matty Faith, with Casey Valentine being the final elimination. Primus Allen got the most eliminations over the course of the match; Cameron Vessey set the record for surviving the longest.

“The Hillbilly Hammer” Clyde Puder stands in the center of the ring. He has just won the New Year’s Rumble and stamped his ticket in the North American Championship match at the Eighth Anniversary. He looks out at the crowd. They applaud the big man for his effort.
