Tonights show opens to a far less chaotic scene than last weeks show.....although itís still anything but ordinary.....because we open to the Titans of Wrestling (as we often do) but the men arenít making any grand entrances.....because the entire group is already in the ring.....a ring that is surrounded by a fifteen foot high steel cage.....

.....Russo has a microphone in his hand, as he tells the crowd to look at this barbaric structure surrounding the ring.....he says there may only be one ring here tonight.....and this may not be the War Games cage, but take a look at the talent enclosed in this cage and try and tell him how any of Team WCW think they have a chance?......

Ē......What you have here is the greatest single group of professional athletes ever assembled......and we're expanding by the week......we've got the man who's been out here week in and week out trying to prove himself to Hollywood.....trying to show how much he wants it......the man who tonight, has FINALLY earned his shirt......Buff Bagwell......"

.....Russo hands Buff his brand new official Titans of Wrestling shirt, and he grins like a moron as the other Titans pat him on the back before putting the shirt on and flexing his impressive biceps......

".......we've got the new blood.....the hottest young up and coming Team in professional wrestling today.....a team that knows how to pick the winning side, because one call from me was all it took to bring them down south.....and a team that will do what the Not-So-Nasty Boys couldn't, and that's bring the WCW Tag Team Titles back to the Titans of Wrestling.....Adam Copeland and Christian Cage....."

......Edge and Christi.....sorry, I mean Copeland and Cage raise their hands in the air and hop up and down like morons in celebration of their arrival, showing all of that personality that they were beginning to develop during the end of their WWF tenure....Copeland takes the microphone, thanking Russo for making that call.....he says that for the past week, all they've been hearing is "why?"......why did they jump to the WCW?.....he says that's the stupidest question they've ever heard.....he says to look at this group.....Hogan, Warrior, Savage.....

"......I was at Wrestlemania in Toronto you know.....I was there for the ultimate challenge......me and Christian, we were totally the biggest Hollywood-Maniacs in all of Canada.......maybe the world......"

.....Christian says that while Hollywood rules the world as the number one singles wrestler, he and his partner are going to rule the wrestling world as the number one tag team.....

".....and to do that, all we have to do is beat the Chode Warriors, which shouldn't be hard, because we are totally freaking awesome....."

......Russo takes the microphone back, saying that he hopes that's right.....but not only do the Titans have the new blood, they have the true blood.....THE faces of professional wrestling.....he says if you ask any non-wrestling fan to name a wrestler, they would name one of three people......either Randy Savage......The Warrior.............or Hollywood Hogan......

.....and as the Warrior broods in the background, Hollywood takes the microphone.....he walks right up to the wire mesh cage, giving it a good shake with a sneer on his face.....

"......see this right here Brothers, this is why WCW can never match up to the Titans dude....because make no mistake, this is a war.....this is our battleground.....and the WCW, they're sending boys into the pits of hell to fight five of the baddest men on the planet.....this is WAR Games brother, not Fun and Games.....you've got five icons in there with a has-been....a hack.....a never-was.....and two nobodies......that's Flexy Lexy and the Big Stinky Giant.....Curt Hennig who I've beaten more times than I can count.........and finally Diamond Dallas Page and Chris Benoit.....Ha-Ha, don't make me laugh......Dallas Page and Chris Benoit should be kissing Hollywood's feet for even agreeing to get in the ring with a pair of scrubs like them......

......Hollywood is going to take these 24 inch pythons brother, he's going to pick Dallas Page up with one hand......he's going to pick Benoit up with the other.....he's going to press them both over his head at the same time, grind their ugly faces up and down this cage like a cheese grater.....and THEN, when I've had my fun......I'm going to throw them to the lions, Macho Man and the Warrior.....and they're going to pick the carcasses clean and use your bones to make their bread......"

......Hogan says that Giant, Hennig, Page and Benoit, they've never been inside War Games like Hollywood and the Macho Man.....they've never been locked inside a steel cell with a stone cold killer like the Warrior before.....but they will.....

"......and what ya gonna do brother?.......when the baddest dudes on the planet, the Titans of Wrestling, run wild on you?...."

.....with that Hogan throws down the microphone, snarling at the camera as the entire group begins shaking that steel cage and we go to a commercial for our upcoming Fall Brawl event.

Our first match up of the evening is a Championship match for the WCW Television Title....this is Jeff Hardy's second Championship opportunity in his short tenure for World Championship Wrestling, his first being a loosing effort against reigning United States Champion Eddie Guerrero....some may say that competing for the US Title at this relatively young stage of his career was maybe a step to far for Hardy, although while the Television Championship could certainly be considered a step below the US Title (and perhaps a more appropriate Title for a young up and comer like Jeff) you could hardly accuse the current Champion, Lord Steven Regal of being a step below United States Champion Guerrero....because his Lordship is far from a pushover.....

.....that being said, this was certainly a closely fought contest between two men who's styles couldn't be more contradicting....the high flying, high impact offence of Hardy, against the slower paced, mat based ring work of Regal.....although, as Jeff drives the air out of Regal in the corner with a one man Poetry in Motion, before ascending to the top rope in search of that Swanton Bomb, it looks as though it's the high flyer that's going to come out on top.......except looks can be deceiving........

......because in somewhat of a recurring feature in recent weeks, Mortis and his manager/mouthpiece, James Vandenberg make their way down to ringside....

.....Vandenberg hops up onto the apron, not only causing the distraction to the official, but halting young Hardy in his tracks too, who sits perched high up on the top rope....at least he does until Mortis pops up behind him and nails him in the back of the head with that Jester Sceptre....and Hardy crashes to the mat hard......

......his Lordship quickly wraps Hardy up in the Regal Stretch, but it's academic at this point, Jeff Hardy is out cold and the official calls for the bell, putting a stop to the match and declaring Regal your winner.

Winner: ......and Still WCW Television Champion......Lord Steven Regal
Rating: B-

His Lordship heads to the back with his Championship over his shoulder and his arm raised in victory, as Mortis and Vandenberg enter the ring....Vandenberg says that this right here, this sorry mess laying flat on his back in the middle of the ring, is exactly the consequences of pitting boys inside a man's sport.....he says that Jeff Hardy is just nineteen years old....a teenager....barely wet behind the ears.....but if he continues to toil in a man's sport then this canvas will be wet with pools of Hardy's blood....because Mortis is here to purge....Mortis his here to purify.....and Mortis is here to obliterate the imperfections of professional wrestling.....

.....with that Mortis drags the still practically unconscious Hardy to his feet....but he's not standing for long, because he drives young Jeff straight back down to the mat with a Flatliner.....and once more, Jeff Hardy is left laying by this masked maniac.

From there we go to tag team action, and it's a truly epic encounter between The Soul Train (Ernest Miller and Ice Train) and the Amazing French Canadians......

.....just kidding.....

.....it WAS the Soul Train vs The Amazing French Canadians after all.....it was pretty poor.....

.....to be fair, the AFC are a pretty entertaining team, and they rile this Memphis crowd up with a dreadful rendition of the Canadian National Anthem before the match gets underway....from there it's your pretty standard tag match, with Rougeau and Oulette working over Miller until he's finally able to make the tag (notice I didn't say it was a hot tag) to the big man Ice Train....

.....Ice Train then used his considerable power to plough through the two Canadians until his partner is able to get back into the fray.....in the end however it's the former Quebeckers that pick up the victory, after Oulette crushes the life out of Miller with that assisted Senton Bomb.

Winner(s): The Amazing French Canadians
Rating: C

Quote:

Not content with just picking up the victory however, the Canadians decide to continue the assault, and with Miller still down its Ice Train next on the chopping block, receiving a double flapjack before Jacques picks up his own partner and bodyslams him right onto the downed Train.....

.....they drag the huge frame of Ice Train over to the corner, and after treating us all to another heartfelt rendition of the Canadian National Anthem, Oulette heads up top once more as the Canadians look to deliver a second assisted Senton.......

......but before he has chance to deliver it, the rookie sensation Bill Goldberg comes running down the aisle like a man possessed, and he leaps onto the apron where he sends Oulette flying halfway across the ring with a huge shove.....

.....he flys through the middle rope and charges at Jacques, who attempts to surprise the former football star with a quick clothesline....but Goldberg ducks that and absolutely destroys Rougeau with a huge spear on the return.....

.....Oulette quickly has the common sense to grab his partner and drag him to the safety of the outside, as the Amazing French Canadians quickly escape to the back, far away from the rampaging Goldberg who is screaming at the two men to come back and fight.....two men, one man, twenty men.....I don't think Goldberg cares WHO he fights so long as he fights someone....luckily for him he has a match lined up right now......

.....poor Kaz Hayashi.....he didn't stand a chance here....

....Goldberg was p!ssed before the match even began....and his mood didn't improve any during the course of this match.....of course it didn't help that this "match" lasted 1:35....hardly enough time to make a cup of coffee let alone improve somebodies mood.....Spear.....Jackhammer......and as the commentators fawn over the dominant displays that Goldberg has shown since his debut, it's goodnight Kaz Hayashi, lookout Amazing French Canadians.

Winner: Bill Goldberg

We go backstage now, where Mean Gene is standing by with the man he informs us will be facing newcomer Lance Storm at Fall Brawl, veteran of the sport, Rick Martel.....Gene says that Martel appeared to have title glory on his mind when he made his surprise debut for World Championship Wrestling a few months back, and looked to be a dead cert to be the man to dethrone Lord Steven Regal for the Television Championship.....those plans however were all derailed with the arrival of fellow Canadian Lance Storm, who alleges that Martel has outstayed his welcome in the wrestling business, and if anything, is now actually an embarrassment to all of Canada....

.....Martel scoffs at that, saying the only embarrassment around here is Lance Storm.....Martel says that he might be a few years older, but like a fine wine he just gets better with age....

"......Lance Storm, you might have youth on your side, but there is no substitution for experience, and there's no substitution for talent....when you're good, you're good, no matter the age, and Rick Martel is better than good....."

.....he says that he will step into the ring with Lance Storm at Fall Brawl, he will DEFEAT Lance Storm at Fall Brawl.....and then he can refocus his attention on Steven Regal and the Television Title, a title that he claims he WOULD have been wearing right now had it not been for Storm....he says Storm is a good wrestler....a GREAT wrestler in fact, Martel can admit that....but he's young and WILL make a mistake.....and one mistake is all Rick Martel will need, to wrap him up into the Boston Crab.

Next up it's a real battle of the bulk, as two 300lb+ behemoths take to the ring, when The Warlord goes one on one with Scott Norton.....and as one former WCW announcer may say, this one was bowling shoe ugly.....

....it was a real punch/kick affair that saw these two beasts just stiff the life out of each other...and that's not because Norton isn't capable of more, but you can only do so much with an opponent as limited as the Warlord, who's style certainly lends itself better to tag team encounters rather than singles bouts.....

.....Norton does get to demonstrate his tremendous strength however, when he is able to get the 6'5" Warlord up for his patented Shoulder-breaker, which was enough here to secure him a three count.

Winner: Scott Norton

We wake up Mean Gene from his backstage nap, because he has another interview to conduct, this time in front of the live crowd however as he stands in the middle of the ring....he does the obligatory shilling of the Hotline (1-900-909-9900), before asking us to welcome his next guests, three of the five men who will facing the Titans of Wrestling at Fall Brawl, AS WELL as competing against arguably three of the biggest names in Wrestling history tonight.....

"....ladies and gentlemen please welcome....Curt Hennig, Chris Benoit.....and Diamond Dallas Page....."

.....the trio get a good reception from this WCW faithful as they make their way out from the back....and the fact that DDP has the gorgeous Kimberly with him certainly doesn't hurt the crowd reaction, as one by one they climb through the ropes to join Gene in the ring.....

....Gene thanks the men for coming out, before getting straight to business.....he says that tonight they will be stepping in this ring to face Hollywood Hogan, Randy Savage and The Warrior in six man action....and as we saw earlier this evening, Hollywood Hogan has already dismissed all three of these men as ANY kind of credible threat....and when you take into account that those three men standing across the ring from them tonight in the main event, have a total combined 12 Wold Championship reigns between them, compared to Hennig, Benoit and Page's combined ZERO World Championship reigns, Gene wonders out loud if Hogan's words will knock their confidence at all......

.....Hennig asks Gene if he looks like a man who's EVER lacked confidence a day in his life? He says yeah, sure Hogan has defeated him in the past, but the past is the past....right here in WCW, in one on one competition, it's Curt Hennig one, Hollywood Hogan zero.....

".....see Hogan can preach about beating Curt Hennig, but the fact of the matter is that despite Vince Russo and the Titans of Wrestling's best efforts, Eric Bischoff has ensured that WCW is a level playing field....and in a level playing field, there's no one better in this ring than Curt Hennig.....and in a level playing field, EVERYBODY gets a chance to rise to the top....and people like Chris Benoit, like Diamond Dallas Page....people that Hogan would NEVER have worked with five, ten years ago because he would have point blank refused....they're going to show Hogan....Savage....Warrior.....they're going to show the world that they are deserving of a place at the top table.....Hollywood Hogan may well be considered the biggest icon in professional wrestling, but when you're allowed to handpick your opponents for the best part of twenty years, it's pretty easy to rise to the top....let's see how good he is when his opponents don't fit inside his little comfort zone, because this man right here, Chris Benoit, is certainly NOT a man to be taken lightly....."

.....Benoit doesn't say much....he prefers to let his actions in the ring do his talking for him (that and he is terrible on the microphone)....he simply says that he's been here in WCW in one way or another for the best part of four years now....not ONCE has he had a shot at that WCW Championship.....not ONCE has he had a shot at a Hogan....a Savage....a Warrior.....he says he's hit his head on that glass ceiling so many times that he damn near broke his neck....but that's all changing....the Titans of Wrestling may think they run WCW.....they may think that they're unbeatable and unbreakable......well lets see how unbreakable they are, when Chris Benoit traps them in the Crippler Crossface......

......Page takes the microphone next....asking Gene to take a look at him and tell him what he sees....Gene looks flustered for a moment, telling Page he's not entirely sure of the question....

"......it's not a hard question Gene-O, I'll tell you what you see....you see a 41 year old wrestler, who only laced up those boots full time a few years ago....you see a nightclub owner....a manager....a mouthpiece....a tattooed New Jersey bum.....and that's what Hollywood "Scum" Hogan see's too.....except that's the problem Gene, looks can be deceiving....sure I'm all those things, but I'm so much more.....I'm an anomaly.....what I am Gene, is a man who sees what he wants...works his ass off and chases those dreams.......

.....Wrestlemania VI....I know we're not supposed to talk about "the other guys" Gene, but hear me out.....Wrestlemania VI....the Ultimate Showdown......Hollywood Hogan vs. The Warrior....Champion vs. Champion.....Title vs. Title.....do you know what I did at Wrestlemania VI Gene? Hell, I wasn't even a blip on the radar at Wrestlemania VI....I drove the Honky Tonk Man and Greg Valentine to the ring in my very own pink Cadillac....I am the very definition of starting from the bottom, and good god look at me now.....Hogan....Savage....Warrior, Levesque, Traylor, Bagwell....those two new guys.....they're all going to find out the hard way that the cream always rises to the top.....and at War Games, every single one of them is going to feel....the.....BANG!....."

Had WCW had a Cruiserweight division, then this match right here would have been a prime example of it, as cocky young German Alex Wright goes one on one with another youngster, Japan's own Yoshihiro Tajiri.....and despite the fact that Tajiri is five years senior to Wright (27 to Wrights 22) Alex Wright is actually the veteran of the pair, debuting at the age of just 16, three years before Tajiri's debut in 1994.....

......Yoshihiro certainly showed flashes of what the WCW executives obviously saw when hiring him during this one, because he more than holds his own against the more established Wright...unfortunately holding your own isn't enough around here, and Wright was finally able to pick up the victory with the (fittingly enough) Bridging German Suplex for the one, two, three.

Winner: Alex Wright

It's a busy night for Mean Gene tonight, as he's called to action once more....this time he is backstage with his latest guests, Hawk, Animal, the WCW Tag Team Champions....The Road Warriors.....

.....Gene says that it's safe to say that the Road Warriors are finally finished with the Nasty Boys...but with the arrival of Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, it would seem as though the Titans of Wrestling are FAR from done with Hawk and Animal.....AND those Tag Team Titles they wear around their waist.....

.....Animal screams that's right.....he says they told everyone what they were going to do to the Nasty Boys, and that's exactly what they did....now it's Copeland and Cage? They'll find out the same thing that the Nasty Boys found out....and that's the fact that when you step into the ring with the Road Warriors, you're gonna get hurt......"TELL 'EM HAWK"......

"......WELLLLLLL, MEAN GENE.....THE TITANS OF WRESTLING AREN'T FINISHED WITH US?......WELL THATS OK.....BECAUSE WE'RE NOT FINISHED WITH THEM EITHER.....TWO DOWN......LOTS MORE TO GO.....AND LIKE THE COCKROACHES THAT THEY ARE, ME AND ANIMAL, WE'RE JUST GONNA KEEP STEPPING ON THEM UNTIL THERES NOTHING LEFT BUT A STAIN ON THE MAT......AND SINCE COPELAND AND CAGE ARE SUCH BIG FANS OF HOGAN AND TNE WARRIOR, WE'RE GONNA GIVE THEM A LITTLE MAKEOVER......FIRST OF ALL, WE'RE GONNA BLACK THEIR EYES SO BAD, IT'S GONNA LOOK LIKE THEY'RE WEARING WARRIOR FACE PAINT......AND THEN, WE'RE GONNA GRAB A HOLD OF THAT STRINGY BLONDE HAIR....GET A GOOD GRIP.....AND THEN WE'RE GONNA SCALP THEM, UNTIL THEY'RE LEFT WITH NOTHING MORE THAN A PERFECT HOLLYWOOD HOGAN SKULLET......UHHHHHHH......WHAT A R..........."

......Hawk doesn't get to finish his trademark catchphrase however.....because this young lady walks into shot, Missy Hyatt......

".....what a rush indeed, you boys are fired up ain't ya....."

.....Missy says that since Hawk and Animal CLEARLY like to fight....how about they forget about the Titans of Wrestling for a minute....because if they like to fight....she's got just the men for them........

".....MY men....."

......and it looks as though HER men aren't waiting for a reply.....because with the Road Warriors attention on Missy, Mike Awesome and Gideon Cain burst into shot behind them, and instantly begin laying into Hawk and Animal with big stiff blows, while Mean Gene runs for safety......

.....Awesome and Cain make the most of their advantage, beating the Warriors down to the ground, before tearing the WCW Tag Titles from around their waists, and each man drives a gold plate hard into the back of Hawk and Animal's skull, leaving the pair flat on the floor.....

....Missy (sarcastically) scolds her clients, saying that she was just about to secure them a tag team title shot.....

".....never mind.....maybe when they wake up they will accept the challenge....."

....with that Missy starts laughing as she links arms with her two men and the trio walk out of shot, statement made.

It's World Championship Wrestling vs. The Titans of Wrestling next....as The Giant squares off against the Enforcer of the group....Ray Traylor....while the Giant of 1997 isn't QUITE in the same shape that the Giant of 1995 was, he is still a truly impressive specimen, and he shows just how surprisingly agile is is for such a huge man tonight, when he performs a kip up after Traylor finally manages to knock him down to the mat (and yes, the Big Show could indeed perform a kip up at one stage in his career.....as well as a terrifying top rope dropkick)....

......while the Giant is indeed a part of WCW's War Games team, Traylor is not one of the Titan's five men competing....and if this result is anything to go by then that's probably a good decision on the part of the Titans, because despite his best efforts "The Enforcer" came up short, after getting almost driven through the mat with a huge Chokeslam from the big man.

Winner: The Giant

Oh look....it's Mean Gene again, who makes his way out from the back to catch a quick word from Lex Luger and the Giant....he starts by saying that he needs to start charging danger money for these interviews if his last one was anything to go by....before asking Luger and Giant if they heard the Titans of Wrestling's comments earlier in the evening, particularly Hollywood Hogan? Luger says yeah they heard it.....and if Hogan wants to continue to underestimate them then he can go right ahead.....

"......it'll just make it all the sweeter when I have him trapped inside the War Games cage, screaming out in agony to the Torture Rack....."

.....the Giant interrupts there....telling his friend that with all due respect, the man who claims the victory at War Games will be crowned the new number one contender, and face Hollywood Hogan for the WCW Championship at Halloween Havoc......Giant wants that shot....he says that Luger had a shot at the Great American Bash back in June (and he did, a loosing effort in the last AI booked PPV before I took over)....he says that while the Titans of Wrestling screwed Luger out of the title that night, the fact of the matter is still that Hogan walked out of the Bash with the WCW Title still around his waist.....

"....where as if I walk into Halloween Havoc as the number one contender, it won't be the title around his waist that Hollywood has to worry about....it'll be my big hand around his throat that will be the big concern...."

.....Mean Gene (being the sh!t stirrer that he's known to be) asks if that's a little dissension in the ranks already? He says if there's one thing WCW will need to be to defeat the Titan's of Wrestling, it's unified......

......Luger says there's no dissension....he says WHOEVER gets the win at Fall Brawl, the priority is still to get that WCW Title away from Hogan and the Titans of Wrestling, and back where it belongs, around the waist of a WCW wrestler.....

".....and THAT Gene, is all that matters....."

.....so there you have it....Gene wraps the interview up saying that team WCW is a united front....although the tension both in the ring as well as etched on Luger and the Giant's faces tells a different story.....

And so with that it's main event time....and it's Curt Hennig, Chris Benoit and Diamond Dallas Page, facing Hollywood Hogan, Randy Savage and The Warrior....three men who, as Mean Gene pointed out earlier, have a combined total of twelve separate World Title reigns between them....because of this, this match is arguably the highest profile match of Benoit and Page's WCW careers....

....as for the match itself, as far as WCW television matches go, this one was excellent....even the Warrior performed well (but that may be down to the fact that he wasn't blown up by his entrance before the match even began, since he now WALKS to the ring, completely ignoring the fans like an aloof a$$hole....a gimmick which he's improving in by the day)....

.....Page and Benoit are both clearly looking to make an impression in this match, as they both wrestle their hearts out, not backing down for a second against these self proclaimed "Icons"....and interestingly enough, it's Hennig that plays the face in peril role, further raising his teammates stock when he finally makes the hot tag to Benoit.....

.....obviously given the tensions around these two teams, the match then descends into a wild brawl, with the action spilling to the outside, leaving Benoit alone with Hogan in the ring....and in the biggest shock of all, the Canadian Crippler is able to take the WCW Champion to the mat, where he locks in the Crossface.....and Hollywood Hogan taps like crazy in submission.....

.....unfortunately the official doesn't see it, he's too busy trying to get Hennig, Page, Warrior and Savage back to their respective corners as they battle on the outside....and you know what that means......because with this being a match involving Titan wrestlers, obviously there has to be some interference.....

.....and it's newcomers Christian Cage and Adam Copeland who come tearing down the aisle....each with a steel chair in hand.....and as Benoit wrenches back on the Crossface, they unload with a synchronised chair shot a piece.....the Con-Chair-to as it was christened last week.....right to the skull of the Crippler....who slumps to the mat in a heap.....they roll Hogan on top of the unconscious Benoit, before sliding out of the ring, leaving the official to turn around and register the one, the two, and the three.

Winner: The Titans of Wrestling
Rating: B+

Quote:

As soon as the official strikes the mat for the third time, the remaining Titans of Wrestling come running down the aisle, as and Copeland and Cage (you have no idea how many times I've written "Edge" and "Christian" in this show by mistake) both nail Hennig and Page with a shot to the back with a steel chair.....and with just Benoit alone inside the ring, the entire Titan group join him....before Hogan indicates to the back, where Russo is clearly waiting to implement a plan......

.....because the next thing you know, that steel cage that we opened the show with? It slowly begins to descend from the rafters, quickly surrounding the ring and enclosing Benoit in their with all eight members of the Titans......

.....Lex Luger and The Giant both come running out from the back, but much like Page and Hennig who are slowly climbing back to their feet, they're powerless to do anything....especially when Ray Traylor pulls out a thick chain and padlock that he uses to secure the door of the cage firmly closed......

.....and now the Titans go to work....there is an example to be made, and Chris Benoit is obviously the chosen victim....

.....the eight man group swarm the helpless Benoit, stomping the absolute life out him, before Hogan finally pulls him to his feet and drags him over to the side of the cage where the rest of Team WCW are frantically trying to get the door open....Hogan grinds Benoit's face into the unforgiving steel, shouting at Luger and Co. that this is what's waiting for them when they get to War Games.....pain....suffering....and violence.....before tossing Benoit back to the middle of the ring, telling the Titan's to "....show them some violence brothers...."

......that's exactly what they do as well.....as Benoit eats an Enforcer Slam from Traylor....a Pedigree.....AND a rope rope elbow drop from the Macho Man.....

.....Hennig, Page and Luger attempt to scale the cage, but they never get far....because every time they manage to get a grip and begin to climb, Copeland and Cage are there to slam their steel chairs into Team WCW's fingers, leaving the three to drop back to the ground again.....

.....Hogan drops down to one knee beside Benoit, nailing him with a series of right hands as he screams in his face that he should have known his place, before standing back to his feet and retreating to the corner of the ring, where he pauses for a moment to size up his opponent....then dropping one....two.....and finally three Leg Drops across the already unconscious form of Chris Benoit.....

.....in the mean time the Giant as disappeared to the back....but he's making his way down the aisle now.....and he's got a pair of bolt cutters in hand.....although if you want to know what he's going to do with them, you're going to have to tune in next week.....because Tony Schiavone frantically informs us that we are out of time....just as the Giant reaches the door of the cage....goodnight folks.
